LITTLE SCHOLARS WEEK OF JULY 4-28 HAS BEEN CANCELED

Little Scholars offers a wide variety of after school enrichment classes and summer camps for elementary and middle school age children. What sets Little Scholars apart is its unique appeal to students who enjoy academic adventures like solving puzzles, creating structures, building with Legos, unraveling mysteries, drawing comics and having fun using their minds. Our classes are crafted and delivered by credentialed teachers who ensure a quality experience for each child.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: DESIGN THE RUNWAY
Design your very own fashion line with us! Budding designers will create a fashion portfolio, create a one of a kind piece with recyclable goods and end the week with a Runway Show to stop Fashion Week! We will participate in several design challenges too. Come Design your own runway with us!
DATES: June 19-23
*$25 materials fee to be paid to the instructor first day of camp.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: BUILDERS
Calling all inventors, creators, builders and designers! Come build some awesome creations with us! We will create our own designs and make structures using Legos, recyclable materials and many other interesting items such as Lifesavers, paper bags and marshmallows. Skills necessary… none! Skills gained: communication, problem solving, reasoning, developing creativity, and team work.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: AMAZING ADVENTURES
Attention all amazing kids! We are going to take you on an adventure. We will fill your days with paper airplanes, pirates, secret codes, and many more amazing activities. Don’t miss out on our daily challenges! Not only will you have an amazing time, but you will sharpen your reasoning skills, increase processing speed, and broaden your creative mind.
DATES: July 24-28, July 31-August 4

LITTLE SCHOLARS: WRITER’S LAB
Test your linguistic prowess and get your creative juices flowing in Writer’s Lab. We will entertain each other with comic designed, Magna Comic writing, and skit creations as well as language games to get even weary writers gunning to write more and more. Authors will build a portfolio of work as well as design a book.
DATES: July 31-August 4

LITTLE SCHOLARS: SUPER SLEUTHS
Get out your magnifying glasses and detective hat as we have clues to decipher and crimes to solve. We will put our critical thinking skills and STEM knowledge to the test and get to the bottom mysteries by learning the tricks real investigators use to solve cases. While experimenting with simple detection techniques, your reasoning skills will grow and your problem solving skills will become better than CSI agents.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: NUMBER CRUNCHERS
Have you ever been in a mental math game? Do you like to roll the dice? Do you have the edge to tackle mathematical concepts? Join us as we explore math in an all new way! We will enrich your math skills through math fact games, problem solving competitions, logical reasoning and spatial math concept tournaments. Who knew math could be so much fun!

LITTLE SCHOLARS: GREEN THUMB CLUB
Catch an insect, grow a terrarium and save the earth…all while learning about nature and the world around us through exciting expeditions, science and environmental exploration. Our Green Thumb Club will ignite your child’s passion for nature, recycling and learning about the earth through educational activities and science investigations. It’s time to join the Green Thumb Club!

LITTLE SCHOLARS: SHINE & DESIGN
Join us for a girls’ only craft experience you will talk about all summer. We will make one of a kind jewelry, bling out picture frames, decorate personalized diaries and create many other keepsakes. Express your unique personality with personalized pieces you’ll treasure.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: FUTUREPRENEUR
Are you a natural born leader? Do you want to experience the thrills of creating a ‘company’? Don’t miss out on this camp where you will create and sell handmade products at the Sale- A-Thon. This camp will dabble in the world of stocks and current events as it relates to businesses.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: STUDY LIKE A SCHOLAR
“Be sure to study for the test on Friday!” What does that REALLY mean? Students often need more guidance than they get in the classroom as they navigate the road of study skills. As your child becomes more independent, we will provide them with the strategies that are most compatible with their learning style to get them organized, taking good notes and studying effectively.

LITTLE SCHOLARS: WRITER’S MASHUP
Conquer the writing world as we dive into linguistic games, get your creative writing juices flowing and entertain your fellow authors with comic writing, Magna Comics and skit writing. Authors will build a portfolio of work as well as design a book.
