Testing Optional Colleges/Universities

Many college and universities have flexible/optional score submission policies. In fact, over 830 colleges and universities across the United States admit a substantial number of students without regard to test scores. These schools choose to evaluate a student's grades, involvements, and the difficulty of her courses in order to determine a good fit with the college's profile, rather than considering the scores received on standardized tests. Check with the individual college to learn about their policies and conditions. We will work one-on-one with students to determine if this course of action might be beneficial.

A list of schools that currently offer flexible or optional policies for test submission can be found at FAIRTEST.
