Since its earliest days in 1910, boarding at Garrison Forest School has been a treasured tradition. Generations of Alumnae have benefited from the enriching experience of learning and living at Garrison Forest.
What is the Legacy Scholarship?
Garrison Forest offers two merit-based legacy scholarships for any new student or current day
students entering Grades 8-12 to board at Garrison Forest. Alumnae daughters, granddaughters, or nieces are eligible to apply. Scholarships are renewable each year with good
academic standing.

What is the award?
The Legacy Scholarship covers the difference in cost between a day and a boarding tuition. Eligible families may also apply for additional need-based financial aid.

How does my family apply?
There is no separate application required. Families applying for the first time should simply download the attached applications, complete the boarding application process, and contact Leslie Tinati, Director of Admission and Financial Aid (410) 559-3110 or leslietinati@gfs.org to let her know of your interest. For your convenience we now offer an easy-to-use online application form.
Current GFS families in Grades 7-11 do not need to complete a new application. Simply contact Leslie Tinati to let her know of your interest in the Legacy Scholarship Program.

May I visit Garrison Forest with my family member who is interested?
Of course! You may schedule a tour and visit with Leslie Tinati or register to attend one of our Garrison Getaways, overnight programs for interested applicants. Students stay in our dormitories with other boarders, attend classes, and take a tour.
