Application Process

• A completed application with fee is required to begin the consideration process. The application deadline for Middle and Upper School is December 14. For K-5 and Preschool the deadline is January 4 and for boarders February 8. 
• In addition to sending the application to Garrison Forest, please sign the enclosed Parent Release Form and take it, along with your Common Referral Form, to your school to be completed and returned to the GFS Admission Office. This form should be completed after December 1st and sent no later than mid-January.
• Parents are asked to complete and return the enclosed Parents Thoughts Form by the application deadlines above.
• After early March, GFS considers applications on a rolling basis, as space allows.

Notification of Decision

Each of our applicants will receive a written notice or a phone call telling them when their application folder is complete. Our Admission Committees will meet during late January and February to review all complete applications. We will announce decisions for all complete applicants on February 15, 2013 by putting our decision letters in the mail that day. Boarding decisions will be announced on March 8, 2013. Feel free to be in touch with a member of the Admission Team after decisions are announced with any questions or concerns regarding your child.

Newly accepted families are encouraged to return to our campus to celebrate your child's acceptance and to get to know us better.
