Parent-Toddler Class

Our Parent-Toddler class is a joyful and valuable experience for the children and their parents and offers an exciting first introduction to school.

In the Parent-Toddler class, parents and their toddlers have weekly opportunities to learn from each other and from lead teacher Virginia Berrier. Freedom, discovery, and spontaneity are at the root of the activities, and early socialization skills are nurtured with warmth and understanding. The teachers have a keen understanding of the developmental needs of young children and encourage exploration and play as the primary means of engaging a child’s interest and enthusiasm for learning.

The Parent-Toddler class meets on Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. throughout the school year. Class size is eight to 10 children. Children who will turn two by the end of December 31 are eligible.
