Several outside programs and leagues use the Garrison Forest campus to provide opportunities for the GFS and Baltimore communities to engage in athletic, artistic, and civic endeavors. Our talented Garrison Forest faculty also periodically offer classes and/or seminars of interest to the GFS and broader communities.

Garrison Forest Indoor Field Hockey League
REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR 2012-13! 
Started in 2006, the Garrison Forest Indoor Field Hockey League is organized and supported by the Garrison Forest hockey teams. The League was formed to help support a growing interest in hockey after the fall season ends. Indoor hockey is a great way to improve one's stick work and game. It is a fast game on a court approximately the size of a basketball court. Each team plays with six field players and a goalie. All games are refereed by qualified officials. Games run on the hour and are played in two 25-minute halves. We will also be hosting two indoor tournaments. The Garrison Forest League is meant to promote teamwork and camaraderie in a fun atmosphere while enhancing everyone's hockey skills. The Dance Academy
A variety of dance classes for ages 2 - adult are offered throughout the 2012-13 year. Taught by professional dancers and organized by Mia Blackston, Middle School Administrative Assistant

WHEN: Classes begin Saturday, October 5
Class dates and times are
Wednesday 6:30 pm-9:30 pm, Friday 6:30 pm-9:30 pm, and Saturday 9 am-3pm.
WHERE: The Dance Studio in the GFS Searle Athletic Studio and the GFS Whitridge Athletic Pavilion (next to the tennis courts)
COST: Varies depending on class
