Q
What is the difference between The Fund for Garrison Forest and The Centennial Campaign?
-
A
The Fund for Garrison Forest supports the general operating budget to help offset expenses not covered by tuition. Gifts to The Fund for Garrison Forest are used within the year they are given.
The Centennial Campaign builds the School’s assets by underwriting construction and renovation projects or by being permanently invested in our Endowment. Gifts to The Centennial Campaign support the long-term fiscal health of Garrison Forest. Capital gifts begin at $25,000 and can be paid over several years.

Q
What is The Fund for Garrison Forest?
-
A
The Annual Fund, now The Fund for Garrison Forest, has always played a vital role in the School’s success. The Fund for Garrison Forest supports 6% the School's operating budget by offsetting expenses not covered by tuition (tuition supports 75% of the operating budget) and income from the Endowment (interest from Endowment covers 6% of the operating budget). Gifts to the Fund directly and immediately benefit each student and teacher as well as every program on campus, allowing the School to provide an exceptional educational experience.

Q
I am not in the position to make a leadership gift, how does my gift help?
-
A
Every gift is important. When foundations and corporations are deciding which institutions they will support, they look for high levels of participation from our Alumnae, Parents, and Friends. Participation is a barometer of the success of our program. Every gift makes a difference! The Fund for Garrison Forest pools smaller gifts together to make a large impact.
