Join Team GFS
at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure!
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2014
Hunt Valley, Md.
Register today--there's still time!
All GFS students, parents, alumnae, faculty, staff and friends are invited to race, walk or “sleep in” for a cure for breast cancer in the 2014 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley.
IT'S OFFICIAL! Team GFS has won the “Team Challenge” for all schools participating in the Hunt Valley Race!
We have the most team members of any school participating!
2014 Team GFS goal: $18,000 and have 500 team members! Every dollar and GFS community member make a real difference in finding a cure for breast cancer. Most of the funds raised remain in Maryland for treatment and research.
This is Garrison Forest’s 17th year as a Race for the Cure team. Organized by the Parent Association, Team GFS is the only school-wide community service event at Garrison Forest.
What's happening on Race Day?
Be sure to check the Komen site for road closures, etc. All road closure times, parking lots, etc. may be found in this Komen informational brochure.
6:15 AM – 10 AM: Come to Team GFS’s tent in the tent village at the corner of Shawan and McCormick Roads. Look for the GFS mini-bus and blue GFS flag beside the tent.
