GFS travel trip to Spain, Summer 2014

Joan Hurley, Chair of the Modern Languages Department and Upper School Spanish teacher, will lead GFS Spanish students on a cultural- and language-immersion adventure for summer 2014. Spend three weeks in Spain, visiting Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and the coastal city of Gijón where students will live with a Spanish host family and attend classes taught by a native Spanish-speaking teacher. The mission and mix of the GFS travel program--students stay with Spanish-speaking families, attend classes, and travel--is truly unique among U.S. summer abroad programs in Spain.
