Gateway Scholars Program
An immersive, individualized set of learning experiences for students seeking in-depth and interdisciplinary work, co-curricular engagement and leadership, experiential learning, and access to a mentor network.

Choose Your Learning Pathway
The Gateway Scholars Program provides unique opportunities for Upper School students with a special interest in Global Citizenship, STEM or Visual Art and Design to craft a distinct curricular and co-curricular path—or, students can create their own program through the Independent Inquiry track. Supported by a network of on- and off-campus mentors, each Gateway Scholar creates an immersive learning program designed to challenge them as learners, enrich their experience, deepen their understanding, and document their process of discovery.
Students can enter the program as early as 9th Grade or as late as the end of 11th Grade. Flexible "on-ramping" over the course of the student's Upper School career is available.
Program highlights:
- Close coordination with College Counseling
- Culminates with a Capstone portfolio presentation
- Students completing requirements graduate with a Gateway Scholars Certificate
