Alumnae Board Partnership with Kenya Connect
The Alumnae Board is proud to partner with the school community to raise awareness and support Kenya Connect. Started initially as a pen pal program, the work has expanded to include literacy initiatives, technology classes, girls empowerment and health campaigns. We will be collecting items for their makerspace at the Baltimore Happy Hour. Items needed include:
Art supplies: hot glue guns and glue, glue sticks, very small beads, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, tissue paper, colored pencils, watercolor and other art paper, crochet hooks, knitting needles, yarn
Small tools like pliers, screwdrivers, needle nose pliers, small hammers, small wires
Legos (any size and type, need not be new or complete sets!)
