Forest Boyce '03
Forest Boyce '03 began pursuing her dream of becoming a jockey at age 11. After being taught to ride by her mother, she began training with renowned jockeys before and after school at Garrison Forest. She continued to train while earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
In 2010, Forest finished her apprentice season as one of three Eclipse Award finalists for Apprentice Rider of the Year, won titles at summer and fall meets at Laurel Park, and racked up 129 victories.
