The Garrison Forest Dance Department presented their concert on May 2 and 3.
Garrison Forest places high value and strong emphasis on the Arts, offering substantive, varied, and sequential programs in the Visual Arts, Dance, Music and Theater. With many curricular and co-curricular choices among the Arts, all students have opportunities to discover talents and develop skills at every level.
Zoe Osgood '20, Meredith Iodice '19, Soliel Gohoure '19 and Ralston Finney '19 have their work featured in the Baltimore County Arts Guild student art show and attended a show reception and awards ceremony on March 5.
8th Graders Samalie Kabenge and Andrea Sjaarda performed with the Maryland Junior All State Chorus on Sunday, March 3.
On Friday, February 22, GFS Upper School dancers participated in the 2019 Maryland Dance Alliance Festival.
The Upper School musical, Footloose, showed from February 14-16.
Three Garrison Forest student art pieces were selected for the AIMS art show and GFS received 21 Scholastic Art Awards.
