Searle Athletic Center
The Athletic Center is home base for our teams across 12 varsity sports. In addition to housing the Athletic Department offices, athletic training room, and campus bookstore, the Athletic Center is where GFS spirit comes to life. It’s home to several championship teams, including our back-to-back 2003 and 2024 IAAM Champion volleyball teams!
Indoor Facility
Home to the GFS volleyball, badminton, track and field, and basketball teams, our indoor facility features three full-sized basketball courts, an indoor track, a dance studio, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
Paw Print & Zolenas Turf Fields
Zolenas and Paw Print turfs are the home of the Grizzlies' field hockey and lacrosse teams. Both fields have lights and are lined for field hockey, lacrosse, and soccer.
Whitridge Tennis Courts
The Whitridge Tennis Courts consist of 7 hard court tennis and pickleball courts. The courts are accompanied by the Whitridge Pavilion which includes locker rooms for our tennis and soccer athletes.
Hopkins Fields
The Hopkins Fields serve as the primary training and competition grounds for GFS soccer. Comprised of two adjacent regulation-size grass fields—Hopkins 1 and Hopkins 2—this area provides ample space for both daily practices and interscholastic matches.
Fieldhouse - Indoor Turf
The Fieldhouse, formerly known as the Auxiliary Gym, is an indoor turf that is approximately 95' by 55'. This space is often used for a variety of sports practices from Lower School athletics to our Varsity teams.
Riding & Polo Facilities
Facilities include the D. & J. Smith Equestrian Center, two fully equipped barns with heated wash stalls, a 60' six horse walker, the Sheridan riding Center for Polo, more than 15 private paddocks for private and group turn-out, and two school-owned rigs and van service for shows and events.
