Catie Gibbons is the Director of Enrollment Management at Garrison Forest. She began working at GFS in 2013 as the Assistant Director of Admission and as a Middle School lacrosse coach. Catie attended Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School in Kingston, PA, and was a three-sport athlete. As a first-time lacrosse player to start high school, she left SEM as captain and MVP. After SEM, Catie began her career at Hamilton College. She walked-on to the Women's Lacrosse team and immediately became a starter. In her four years at Hamilton, she helped lead the defense to the lowest goals against average nationally. She was named Player of the Week multiple times and League All-Team. During her junior year, Catie spent the fall term studying abroad in Ireland and played with the Irish National Team. Upon returning to the States for her junior season, the Hamilton Continentals went 21-1 and won the 2008 National Championship. As a captain her senior year, Catie led the team back to the Final Four and the Continentals finished as National Semifinalists. Catie graduated from Hamilton in 2009 with a Bachelors in Government and minor in Art History.
After graduating from college, Catie kept lacrosse in her life as both a high school coach and club team coach. As a member of the History Faculty and Assistant Athletic Director at the Perkiomen School, Catie head coached both girls basketball and lacrosse. While earning her Masters in Anthropology at The University of Chicago, Catie coached with True Lacrosse and played throughout the Midwest. Now at Garrison Forest, Catie is Head Coach of the JV Lacrosse program alongside her work in Admissions. She lived on campus for 6 years and currently resides in downtown Baltimore.
