Athletics, Director of Athletics
Traci Davis came to Garrison in 1998 and became Director of Athletics in 2005. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education from Ursinus College and Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Maryland. She has been the Varsity Field Hockey coach since 2000 and coached the Varsity Lacrosse Team from 1999 through 2005. In 2006 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012. Garrison's Hockey teams were the IAAM Division Champions. The 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 teams were also the IAAM Tournament Champions. Traci Davis was named The Baltimore Sun Field Hockey Coach of the Year for 2007, and her team ended the Hockey season ranked Number One in the A Division by The Baltimore Sun. In 2010 she was named Co-Coach of the Year along with Leigh McDonald Hall (’81). She taught Physical Education in the Lower and Middle School from 1998-2005.
Prior to coming to Garrison Forest she taught and coached at St. Paul's School for Girls and Roland Park Country School. She was a member of the US Women's Lacrosse team for ten years, an All-American in both Field Hockey and Lacrosse at Ursinus College, a member of the Greater Baltimore Chapter of the Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1999, and a member of the Field Hockey team at the US Field Hockey Olympic Festival in both 1981 and 1982. In 2001 Traci Davis was names to the St. Paul's School for Girls Hall of Fame. In 2011 she was named to the Montgomery County Pennsylvania Hall of Fame and was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
