GFS Hosts BCHSA Horse Show

The Garrison Forest Equestrian program hosted its first BCHSA show of the year on May 12. Almost 150 horses, including GFS horses attended the show. Not only was the weather beautiful, but an enjoyable day was had by all. Special prizes were given through the day, many visitors stopped by the GFS admissions tent and a Mother’s Day flower sale to benefit the BCHSA was held during the event. GFS riders and horses performed extremely well. Thanks to all of the officials, workers and the incredibly hard-working and dedicated staff of the Equestrian program, Virginia Shriver, Karen Zinkhan, Morgan Hoke, Kate Strong and Rick Harris for making this such an amazing event! Most of all, thank you to the wonderful and kind horses and ponies who allow all of members of the Equestrian program to do what the love! Listed below are results and photos from a fantastic day.
