This week, five students and one Upper School faculty member donated more than 8 inches of hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. Students Selina Ma, Aurora Yin, Serena Shafer, Kate Williams and Elaine Zhang, along with Head of Upper School Reema Khanchandani, all donated their healthy locks for women undergoing cancer treatment. Through the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, women battling with cancer will have the opportunity to receive free wigs made from human hair.
Janet Stephens of Studio 921 provided the stylish haircuts, and as you can tell from the pictures below, all of our "Hair Donation Heroes" look great and feel a lot lighter! Three additional students, Ramneet Kaur, Julia Wall and Kellie Zhang, have also made arrangements for their haircuts and will soon have their hair sent off to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Many thanks to all hair donors for exemplifying what it means to "Be Compassionate" by making such a generous and personal gift.
