Lauren McEachin '19 was awarded the The Stanley I. Panitz Leadership Award by the Baltimore Educational Scholarship Trust (B.E.S.T.) in early May. The award is presented annually to a B.E.S.T. young woman and B.E.S.T. young man at the conclusion of their junior year of high school, in recognition of their academic achievement, their demonstrated leadership in both their school and the broader community and their strength of character. Lauren is one of two award recipients and shares the honor with a Boys' Latin School student. The Stanley I. Panitz award was created in memory of the first B.E.S.T. board chair and each recipient receives a $1,000 award to support their senior year tuition.

Congratulations, Lauren, on your accomplishment!
