Substitute Teachers (2020-21)

Garrison Forest School is seeking experienced educators to work as substitute teachers in our Lower (grades K-5), Middle (grades 6-8), and Upper (grades 9-12) Schools. Qualified candidates will be posted on our list of substitutes and hired on a per diem basis as needed. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant/related field

  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication skills

  • Enjoy and possess the ability to work with students who represent a broad range of abilities and learning styles

  • Ability to implement a teacher's lesson plan and work collaboratively with a grade-level team of teachers

  • GFS seeks candidates who value the importance of diversity and can share, teach and appreciate differing points of view
