From producing television news to delivering babies, piloting U.S. Army planes to financial accounting, Garrison Forest alumnae are excelling in careers in every field. Career Day brought a powerful group of GFS women from many decades across a multitude of diverse career paths back to the Forest to share their advice with Upper School students. The alumnae ranged in class years from 1976 to 2013, but all shared with the eager Upper School listeners lessons learned from the triumphs and challenges of their professional journeys and the importance of the foundation they all hold in common-- a GFS education.
The alumnae arrived the night before the March 26th Career Day for dinner and a meet-and-greet at Lochinvar with Head of School Lila Lohr ’63. After breakfast the following morning, the alumnae split into faculty-moderated panels in different locations across campus to share their experiences and answer student questions.
