Agnes Warfield-Blanc ’78, Executive Vice President, Fundraising and Development, U.S. Chamber of Commerce

While she attended Wellesley, Agnes was Chair of the Massachusetts College Republicans.  Prior to her position with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where she has been for 20 years, Agnes had her own fundraising consulting firm, The Warfield Group, whose clients included the Republican National Committee, America’s Promise, the Royal Worcester Museum and the Lamar Alexander Political Action Committee.  Prior to that, she served as Director of Surrogate Operations at the Republican National Committee, and she was Finance Director for Alexander for President and the Republican Exchange Satellite Network.  Earlier in her career, Agnes was Deputy Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Education, where she directed the scheduling and advance operations for the Secretary.  Before that, she was Deputy Chief of Protocol for Visits at the U.S. Department of State.  Agnes also served in the office of Vice President George H.W. Bush as a staff assistant in the Office of Legislative Affairs.  In her current role at the Chamber of Commerce, Agnes manages donor relations and fundraising strategies for the majority of the Chamber’s programs and initiatives.  During her tenure, she has overseen revenue increase from $4 million to over $200 million as well as the Capital Campaign, which has raised over $100 million to date. She has served as GFS Class New Agent since 2006.
