At GFS Abigail was involved with student government, chapel events and the badminton team. Her freshman year at GFS sparked a love of studying world religions, which she did at Carleton College in Northfield, MN. At Carleton, she was a Resident Assistant, an Admissions Fellow and played women's club ice hockey. After college, Abigail completed two terms of AmeriCorps service with a college access program. Abigail earned graduate degrees at Columbia University School of Social Work and the Jewish Theological Seminary. She returned to Baltimore in 2015 to work at the Jewish Volunteer Connection (JVC) as the Senior Associate for Community Partnerships/Partnership Manager. JVC merged into a new engagement organization in the Jewish Community, the Jewish Connection Network, where Abigail now serves as Director of Partnerships. In this role, she develops and maintains strategic partnerships to achieve the Network’s mission and leads organizational development initiatives and the operations team.
