Taylor Harman Lentz ’09

At GFS, Taylor gave tours, was a member of the Equestrian team and participated in the WISE program. After graduating in 2009, Taylor earned a Biology degree with a minor in Sociology at Loyola University Maryland. While at Loyola, she was a member of the Tri Beta Honor Society. In 2015 she earned a Master of Science in Forensic Science with a dual concentration in Biology and Crime Scene Investigation from Stevenson University. While in graduate school she interned in the Firearms and Toolmarks Unit of the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division and later started her career as a Crime Scene Technician for the Baltimore Police Department. In 2017 she began her current position with the Maryland State Police as a Forensic Scientist in the Latent Print/Impressions Unit and became an Adjunct Instructor at Stevenson University. In 2020 she was also an Affiliate Instructor at Loyola University. She is currently cross-training in Firearm and Toolmarks examination.
