Washington International Horse Show Results

GFS competed in the Washington International Horse Show Regional Weekend from October 19-21. Congrats to all of our riders! 

 

Results: 


Small Children's Pony Hunter
Drew Mallahan ‘26 and Shalimar were 3rd and 3rd in their over fences class, which qualified them to compete at the Washington International Horse Show on Local Day.

Older Children's Hunter
Rachel Tanio and Cantissimo VDL were 8th in their over fences class.

Younger Children's Hunter
Kathryn Obrecht ’21 and GPS In The Know were 4th in their over fences class.

Modified Hunters
Kathryn Obrecht ‘21 and GPS In The Know were 5th in their over fences class.
Rachel Tanio and Cantissimo VDL were 2nd in their over fences class.

Thoroughbred Hunters
Jules Astrada ‘21 and Jefferson were 6th over fences and won their under saddle.

Novice Equitation
Drew Mallahan ‘26 and Shalimar were first in both their over fences and their flat.

1.00M Jumpers
Cassie Edgar ‘22 and Calau were 1st and 5th.

Pre Adult Hunter
Erika D'Anna and First Class were 6th and 7th over fences.

Pre Children's Hunter
Lauren Eisele ‘21 and Lamor VDL were 7th over fences and 8th under saddle.

Pre Children's Pony
Alicia Gandsas ‘25 and Skye's Fancy Beau Tye were 8th over fences and 6th in the under saddle.
Chloe Canter ‘24 and Finding Nemo were 6th over fences.

Low Children's Hunter
Nicola Higgins and Bently Du Vernay were 4th over fences.
Lauren Eisele ‘21 and Lamor VDL were 4th in the under saddle.

Low Adult Hunter 
Erika D'Anna and First Class were 1st in both their over fences class and 6th under saddle, earning them champion in the division.

Gittings Finals
Kathryn Obrecht ‘21 and GPS In The Know had a great outing in their first medal finals together.
