We are so excited to honor our 2020 GFS Cum Laude Society inductees! Cum Laude is a national honor society that recognizes those students who show arête (excellence), diké (justice) and timé (honor), and this is a celebration of your commitment to academic excellence and integrity in all that you do at Garrison Forest.
Though we're unable to celebrate in person, this year's Cum Laude speaker, Robyne McCullough '07, shared a few words to congratulate the inductees. Robyne is currently the Chief Communication Officer for the Governor of Maryland's Office of Crime Control and Prevention, and previously worked as a producer for WBAL and was an investigative reporter and Carnegie-Knight Fellow for News21. She holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. Robyne has served as a member of the GFS Alumnae Board and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees. We are so pleased to share her message with you.
We are proud to welcome the following students to the GFS Cum Laude society this year:
We would also like to recognize those members of the Class of 2020 who were inducted last year, as juniors:
To mark this honor, students will receive a Cum Laude pin and certificate. Congratulations and well done!
