GFS SCHOOL NEWS

On January 30, we came together as a community for our annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration, with Preschoolers through Upper Schoolers gathering in the Searle Athletic Center. Featuring student singing and dance groups, poetry and reflections, it was a morning to celebrate and reflect while honoring the life, legacy and impact of Dr. King. Later that evening, an encore program was held for parents and other community members.

Performances included the Upper School Ragged Robins, the Lower School Blue Gems, the Middle School Blue Belles, and the Upper School Dance group Blue Allegro. Throughout the gathering, students shared poetry and reflections about the life of Dr. King.
