Two Class of 2022 Garrison Forest alumnae athletes made headlines last week for their performances on Division 1 and international stages. Lindsey Morris '22 earned the Division 1 Intercollegiate Polo Championship All Star Award, and Dani Mendez-Trendler '22 won a gold medal with Team USA to become a Junior Pan American Field Hockey Champion alongside fellow University of Virginia Cavaliers.

Morris, a USPA Intercollegiate Polo Scholarship recipient, competes for the Southern Methodist University Mustangs who advanced to the national semifinals before losing to the University of Virginia to conclude their 2022-23 season.

Mendez-Trendler appeared in all four games for Team USA and scored a goal in the team's victory over Uruguay. The team's result qualifies them to compete in the FIH Junior World Cup, which is being held December 1-17 in Santiago, Chile. This is the second-ever gold medal for the American squad at the tournament.
