In keeping with one of our Core Values, Be Compassionate, the Garrison Forest community contributed 1,402 snack packs to Baltimore Hunger Project, a non-profit that distributes weekend food bags to food insecure families in the Baltimore region, on Friday, February 3.

A part of a long standing partnership with Baltimore Hunger Project, families from every division -- Preschool through Upper School -- donated snack packs throughout the previous weeks. Parent volunteers delivered the boxes of food bags to Baltimore Hunger Project early Friday morning.

Baltimore Hunger Project is dedicated to eliminating the growing problem of weekend childhood hunger by feeding bodies and minds. They bridge the gap between Friday and Monday by consistently providing weekend food packages to children identified as food insecure, in a compassionate and dignified manner.
