On Friday, the Boyce Center hosted its first summit, providing a unique opportunity for GFS faculty and staff to come together as a professional learning community to learn from and alongside each other. This year's theme, Illuminating Potential: Guiding Students to Shine Brightly, allowed faculty and staff to dive into conversations about celebrating students' strengths as learners and as individuals. Throughout the day, faculty and staff offered sessions on a variety of topics, creating a day of growth and connection. The summit featured keynote speaker Kate McElderry '90, Director of Outreach at Odyssey School.
About the summit, Director of the Boyce Center Shannon Schmidt reflected, "I am inspired by the incredible talent and dedication of the GFS faculty and staff and am thrilled to highlight and share their expertise in teaching and supporting girls in all facets of their development."
