GFS SCHOOL NEWS

Morning rain clouds slowly faded as the sun began to emerge and gave way to a gorgeous day to celebrate the Class of 2021 at the 107th Garrison Forest Commencement ceremony held in Centennial Courtyard. The morning was filled with lots of laughter and happy tears as Seniors left their final mark on the Upper School.

During the ceremony, we heard from President of the School Madison Qualls '21 who shared a few words about the unwavering grit, tenacity and True Blue spirit of the Class of 2021.

Congratulations to the following Commencement Award winners:

Faculty Award: Kean Yin '21

Alumnae Award: Jillian Alexander '21

George M. Shriver Award: Madison Qualls '21

Philip Jensen Award: Carly Baker '21

A very deserving well done to Director of Dance Heather Malone-Wolf for being honored as this year's Distinguished Faculty Award winner. The Distinguished Faculty Award winner is a faculty member who expresses honest excitement for the subject and offers a positive academic challenge to all, therefore, greatly enriching the Garrison Forest School community.

And last but not least, congratulations to the Class of 2021! We will miss you at GFS.
