Like everyone else, the Garrison Forest Dance Department had to navigate a new normal in a world of quarantining, face masks and social distancing. Despite the current climate, Director of Dance Heather Malone-Wolf is dedicated to bringing the joy of dance to her students and the community.

Armed with technology and lots of creativity, Mrs. Heather and her Dance Company conquered the challenge of delivering synchronized dance performances during quarantine, while also capturing the community's heart during a challenging time. Click here to see the video performed in May, by last year's GFS Dance Company during lockdown.

Although students are back together again on campus, the Dance Company still has a few challenges: no live performances and social distancing protocols. However, the Company continues to pivot and remain connected while sharing their love of dance. Check out the video below of a few dance performances and hear from Mrs. Heather on how her dance students use technology and creativity to keep their passion alive and inspire hope, healing and encouragement within the GFS community.
