GFS SCHOOL NEWS

Halloween at GFS is a favorite annual tradition, and this year's celebration was fun and festive--despite the weather! From a frightfully fun Haunted Trail set up by Mr. and Mrs. Hughes and our Senior Class, to a Preschool full of Dalmatians, a costume dance party in the Lower School and some creative costumes in our Middle and Upper School, check out the galleries below for a glimpse of Halloween at GFS!

Preschool:
You might SPOT a theme here, as our very own 101 (plus a few!) Dalmatians took over the Preschool!

Lower School:
A spirited dance party and a visit from a very large banana named Tater Tot brought Halloween joy to the princesses, super heroes, witches, vampires, butterflies and more who filled the halls of the Lower School.

The Lower School teachers--and members of our PE/Athletics team--got into the spirit too!

Middle and Upper School
A pumpkin decorating competition took over the Middle School, while Upper Schoolers--and teachers!--showed off their creative side.

Haunted Trail
Mr. and Mrs. Hughes, along with the Class of 2022, created a Haunted Trail that led to Lochinvar. Middle and Upper Schoolers were invited to trek through the woods--if they dared!--on Thursday, ending the event with a patio party at Lochinvar.

Lower Schoolers braved the trail by the light of day, finding fun surprises--and some familiar masked faces!--behind the trees as they went.
