Halloween at GFS is a favorite annual tradition, and this year's celebration was spirited and full of fun activities! From a truly frightful and fun Haunted Lochinvar hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Hughes and our Senior class (complete with a live performance from our Upper School Blues band!) to a only slightly spooky Spooky Nook for Lower Schoolers, our annual Halloween parade and more, check out the galleries below for a glimpse of Halloween at GFS!
Halloween Parade
Preschool and Lower School students showed off their silly and creative sides in our annual Halloween parade, which goes all across campus!
Spooky Nook
Lower Schoolers brave the walk to Lochinvar before a guided tour through the basement, where some familiar faces (our Lower School teachers!) provide a fun fright.
Costumes and Celebrations
From spirited decorations in the dining hall to fun faculty costumes (including a spot-on Beetlejuice--can you guess who that is?) and group costumes, our community brought the Halloween spirit to campus today.
Haunted Lochinvar
Another Halloween tradition is hosting Middle and Upper School visitors on a haunted trail, through a haunted house at Lochinvar and then upstairs at Lochinvar for a party. This is not for the slightly skittish! Our Seniors lead the charge in decorating and making this a fun experience for all students, and this year's theme was Haunted Carnival. Frightful!
Riding/Polo Pony Parade
Our riders and polo players--along with their horses!--held their annual pony parade to kick off the Halloween fun!
