Our riders are competing at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida! Each year, our student-athletes have the chance to compete at the World Equestrian Center for a few weeks in the winter while completing their schoolwork virtually, with the help of our staff members who travel down to Florida to support them as they compete and study. The classes at the World Equestrian Center are large classes with competitive entries, and our student-athletes are excited to compete!

Week #5 Recap

We finished out our time in Ocala with a bang! Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Marley S. ‘26 and Bonaventure finished with a fourth and eighth in the 1.10m Junior Jumper!

Sophia B. ‘27 and Coralita BC rode to a third and fifth in the 2’6 USHJA Hunters and a second and seventh in the Low Children’s Hunter!

Sophia B. ‘27 and So Cool earned a third and sixth in the 15-17 Children’s Hunter and two eighths in the USHJA 2’9 Hunter!

Katie N. and Et Cetera earned a second, third and fifth in the Large Junior Hunters! They also had a great round in the Jr/Am National Derby!

Kinley M. ‘30 and Brighton Heartbreaker earned Champion of the Small/Medium Pony Hunters after two firsts, a second and two thirds! They were also second in the Classic and Circuit Champion.

Kinley M. ‘30 and Veikko earned Champion of the Large Pony Hunters after three firsts, a second and a fourth. They also won the Classic!

Morgan H. earned first and second on her way to Reserve Champion in the 3’3/3’6 Performance Hunters with Et Cetera! She also jumped Cordolensky to a sixth in the Handy and an eleventh place in the USHJA National Derby.

Week #4 Recap

Week 4 at HITS Ocala brought our riders more miles and smiles in the show ring! 

Marley S. ‘26 and Bonaventure moved up to the 1.10m Junior Jumpers and finished second, third and sixth!

Sophia B. ‘27 and Coralita BC had fun in the 15-17 Children’s Hunter and the 2’9 USHJA Hunters!

Sophia B. ‘27 and So Cool had successful trips in the 15-17 Children’s Hunter and the USHJA 2’9 Hunters! They also earned a sixth in the USHJA 2’9 U/S.

Kinley M. ‘30 and Brighton Heartbreaker earned three blues and two reds in the Sm/Med Children’s Hunter Pony to earn Champion of the division! They also won the Children’s Pony Medal and the Children’s Hunter Pony Classic and finished eighth in the $1,500 Hunter Derby!

Kinley M. ‘30 and Veikko made their show debut with a second and third in the USHJA 2’ Hunters and a second, three thirds and a fourth in the Large Children’s Hunter Pony! They were also 8th in the Children’s Hunter Pony Classic!

Jennifer T. and Cordolinsky had fun showing in the 2’6 Low Adult Hunters and earned Champion with two firsts, a third and an eighth!

Morgan H. earned a fourth with Coralita BC in the USHJA 3’ U/S and a fifth with So Cool in the USHJA 2’9!

Week #3 Recap

Our horses and riders enjoyed some time away from the show ring this week and are looking forward to the last two weeks in Florida!

This week brought us more memories to be grateful for! 

Kaitlyn B. ‘25 and Locarno 99 moved up to the 1.10m Junior Jumpers and brought home a first, fourth and a sixth!

Molly S. ‘26 and Sway competed in the 3’3 Large Junior Hunters and earned a seventh in a Modified Junior Hunter O/F class!

Molly S. ‘26 and Kings Ransom won the Mini HITS Medal and the Mini Maclay in addition to earning seventh in the THIS Children’s Medal!

Marley S. ‘26 and Bonaventure continued to further their partnership in the show ring with a first, second, fourth and fifth in the 1.0m Junior Jumpers! They were also second in the 1.05m Classic and earned Champion in the division for the second week in a row.

Sophia B. ‘27 and Coralita BC strutted to a second in the USHJA 2’9 Hunter U/S and had great rounds over fences!

Sophia B. ‘27 and So Cool had successful trips in the USHJA 3’ Hunters and the 15-17 Children’s Hunters!

Piper B. ‘28 and Nantucket rode to a first, two seconds, fourth, and two eighths in the 14U Children’s Hunters to earn Reserve Champion of the division!

Alana M. ‘28 and H&M Uit De Melle won the 2’6 Children’s Medal and had stellar trips in the Low Children’s Hunters and USHJA 2’6 Hunters! They were also sixth in the Classic.

Katie N. ‘28 and Et Cetera represented the Grizzlies in the National Hunter Derby with a strong performance and moved up to the 3’3 Large Junior Hunters! They placed sixth in an over fences class.

Kinley M. ‘30 and Brighton Heartbreaker continued a successful trip with a first and a seventh in the 2’ USHJA Hunters and earned two blues and four reds in the Children’s Hunter Pony Small/Medium to win Champion of the division!

Jennifer T. and Cordolensky had fun showing in the 2’6 Low Adult Hunters!

Tia G. and Missy Canturo MNM placed fifth in the 1.25m Jr/Am Classic!

Morgan H. and Coralita BC had great rounds in the USHJA 3’ Hunters.

Week #1 Recap

Piper B. '28 and Nantucket showed in the Modified Child Hunter to bring home a third, fifth and seventh and rode in the Children’s Hunter 14/U for a second, sixth, sixth, seventh and eighth! They also placed sixth in the Classic.

Alana M. '28 and H&M Uit De Melle earned a second, third and fifth in the 2’3 Junior/Adult Equitation and had a strong showing in the Low Children’s Hunter. They finished fourth in the 2’6 Children’s Medal!

Katie N. '28 and Et Cetera made their show debut with a first and second in the Modified Child Hunter to earn Reserve Champion! They rode to a third in the THIS Medal and two thirds, a fourth and a fifth in the Children’s Hunter 14/U. The finished eighth in the Classic!

Kinley M. '30 and Brighton Heartbreaker started their 2025 show season with a first and fifth in the 2’ USHJA Hunter and were one ribbon away from a clean sweep in the Children’s Hunter Pony Small/Medium division for a Champion finish! They also won the Children’s Pony Medal and finished third in the Classic.

Jennifer T. and Cordolensky cruised around the Low Adult Hunters and earned a seventh in an O/F class.

Tia G. and Missy Canturo MNM jumped around the Jr/Am 1.20 Jumpers!

Tia G. and Damingo placed 10th in the USHJA National Derby and third and fourth in the Adult Equitation 18-35.

Morgan H. and Coralita had great rounds in the 3’ USHJA Hunters and placed second in the U/S.
