We were so honored to welcome back our alumnae for Reunion Weekend 2025! From our Trailblazing Women: Celebrating 20 Years of the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program, to honoring our Distinguished Alumna Award recipient and Hall of Excellence inductees, to Career Day and a 50th Reunion Celebration Brunch, the weekend was filled with lots of GFS spirit.
Weekend Highlights
Alumnae Polo & Pickleball Matches
We kicked off Reunion Weekend on Thursday afternoon with alumnae polo and pickleball matches, followed by an Après Polo & Pickle event with drinks and lite bites.
Trailblazing Women: Celebrating 20 Years of the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) Program with Jennifer Lawrence ’85
On Friday, we celebrated 20 years of the Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) program with a keynote speech from Jennifer Lawrence ’85 and conversation with current WISE students and Director of the James Center and Dean of Special Programs Andrea Perry. Jennifer reflected on the tools she gained from GFS, as well as the impact the WISE program had on her own daughter, Josie Tidmore ’20. Thank you so much to Jennifer for joining us, to Ms. Perry for leading this important discussion and to our students for bringing their insightful questions.
Career Day
Also on Friday, we welcomed alumnae from a wide range of industries back to campus for Career Day to share their knowledge and experience with our Upper School and 8th Grade students.
True Blue Cocktail Reception
During our True Blue Cocktail Reception, we celebrated four extraordinary members of our community: Reid Boyce Nichols ’89 as our Distinguished Alumna Award Recipient, and Britta Williams Brown '04, Jody Johnson '74 and Jennifer Lawrence '85 for their induction into the Garrison Forest Hall of Excellence.
50th Reunion Celebration Brunch & Mimosa Mingle
On Saturday morning, we honored our 50th Reunion Class, the Class of 1975 and alumnae who have already celebrated this important milestone with a celebratory brunch at Lochinvar and invited alumnae from all classes to join us for mimosas and complimentary headshots.
Thank you to all who made Reunion Weekend possible! We were glad to have so many wonderful alumnae back on campus.
