Lower School students enjoyed an “out-of-this-world” experience with a visit from the Maryland Science Center StarLab on December 6. Set up in the Hathaway Fine and Performing Arts Center Recital Hall, the program included a presentation with a “moveable planetarium” in which the younger Lower School students learned about the sun, moon and stars. Older Lower Schoolers discussed the stars and constellations. The Science Center’s program travels throughout the Mid-Atlantic bringing hands-on science programs to schools.
