March 4 marked the culmination of a series of performances and presentations in honor of Black History Month with a celebration in the Middle School. The Middle and Upper School performers presented an assembly in each division in February (the Middle School assembly was rescheduled due to snow) to pay homage to African American leaders of the past and to celebrate and recognize the African American experience of today. Through drama, reflections, dance and song, the students presented both an informative and inspiring celebration for the GFS community.
