Congratulations to our three NCWIT Aspirations in Computing award winners:  Monica Vogel ‘19, Affiliate Winner; Kennedy Thompson ‘20, Affliate Winner; Serena Shafer ‘19, Honorable Mention. These students were honored at the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing award ceremony this past weekend at University of Maryland College Park. The National Center for Women and Information Technology recognizes young high school women who are active and interested in computing and technology. Monica, Kennedy, and Serena demonstrated their passion in computer science and brought home a trophy for Garrison Forest. Upper School Digital Learning Specialist Neda Blackburn also won an Educator Honorable Mention award at the ceremony.
