Endowment
The endowment is a critical piece of Garrison Forest School’s financial health, and provides 7% of our annual operating expenses. The School uses the earnings generated by these funds, while keeping the principal invested, to assist with annual budgetary needs for student financial aid, compensation, educational programs and campus maintenance.
These funds are professionally invested and managed, so that we are able to focus on our mission of preparing students in and out of the classroom to thrive in a complex, changing world. A robust endowment allows Garrison Forest to make strategic choices that address the long-term needs of the School. Although tuition comprises the largest part of our budget, as we continually strive to minimize increases to our tuition, increasing the School’s endowment is an important way to decrease our dependence on tuition.
