Garrison Forest School

The Fund for Garrison Forest

We are so grateful to the generous donors who help support the mission of our School!

Your gift to The Fund for Garrison Forest makes it possible for us to maintain Garrison Forest standards of excellence, continue to strengthen athletic and academic programming, attract and retain the very best students and faculty, and provide other essential resources.

Without the collective effort and steadfast generosity of so many members of our community, we would not be able to provide the quality of education that is the cornerstone of the GFS experience. Thanks to donors like you, Garrison Forest can continue to:

  • Foster a love of learning for new generations of GFS students.
  • Hire the finest teachers and offer them professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain our beautiful campus.

Gifts to The Fund for Garrison Forest have an immediate impact on the lives of each student and faculty member and on the programs that strengthen the Garrison Forest experience. Participation conveys gratitude as well as demonstrates that as a GFS community, we stand together in support of the students, the teachers and the school. Thank you for your support, this year and every year!

Garrison Forest would not be the institution it is today without the spirit and dedication of generations of alumnae who continually support their school in so many ways. Every year, the largest portion of dollars raised for The Fund and the largest number of gifts come from alumnae!

Fund dollars go directly to support students and teachers, but every alumna gift, counts toward our alumnae participation percentage. We need a high alumnae participation rate to keep pace with our peer schools and demonstrate that GFS alumnae believe in their school and the unique educational experience it offers. Every gift makes a difference, and we are grateful for your support!

This year, classes ending in 9s and 4s are celebrating reunions.  We look forward to seeing you all in May 2019!

All parents, from preschool to seniors, are asked to participate in The Fund for Garrison Forest this year. Tuition does not fully cover the actual cost of educating our students and operating the school, and all independent schools depend on an annual giving program to help make up this difference. Every dollar of The Fund directly benefits your children and their teachers.

Furthermore, parent participation is a crucial benchmark for the dedication and spirit of a school community. A high level of parent support has a multiplying effect, inspiring others to give and helping generate additional funding for exciting programs and innovations.

Thank you for your support!
