Garrison Forest empowers students to realize their full potential and live lives of purpose.

Garrison Forest School

The Fund for Garrison Forest

The Fund for Garrison Forest directly supports the school’s greatest assets—our students and teachers.

Tuition plays the largest role in our ability to serve students; yet, it only covers 76% of our annual budget. The Fund is critical to the school’s operating budget and is the reason we so deeply appreciate broad participation from our entire GFS community: parents, grandparents, alumnae, faculty and staff, parents of alumnae, and friends of the school.

Gifts to The Fund for Garrison Forest have an immediate impact on the lives of each student and faculty member and on the programs that strengthen the Garrison Forest experience and encourage our students to explore their creativity, curiosity and individuality. Your participation demonstrates that as a GFS community, we stand together in support of our Garrison Girls who represent the future.

Garrison Forest would not be the School it is today without the spirit and dedication of generations of alumnae who continually support their school in so many ways. Every year, the largest portion of money raised for The Fund and the largest number of gifts come from alumnae!

Fund dollars go directly to support students and teachers, but every alumna gift, counts toward our alumnae participation percentage. We need a high alumnae participation rate to keep pace with our peer schools and demonstrate that GFS alumnae believe in their school and the unique educational experience it offers. Every gift makes a difference, and we are grateful for your support!

This year, classes ending in 0s and 5s are celebrating reunions.  We look forward to seeing you all on May 1st and 2nd!

All parents, from preschool to seniors, are asked to participate in The Fund for Garrison Forest. Tuition does not fully cover the actual cost of educating our students and operating the school, and all independent schools depend on an annual giving program to help make up this difference. Every dollar of The Fund directly benefits your children and their teachers.

Furthermore, parent participation is a crucial benchmark for the health and spirit of a school community. A high level of parent support has a multiplying effect, inspiring others to give and helping generate additional funding for exciting programs and innovations.

Thank you for your support!
